Long Beach, California State University, is the size of a small city during the ordinary semester. On any given week, over 37,000 students, almost 2,000 faculty, and 1,600 professional staff members study and work on campus. The institution offers more than 95 programmes across its eight colleges. Design, Music, Theatre Arts, and Dance are among the programmes offered at the College of Arts. Finance, Accountancy, Marketing, and International Business are among the seven programmes offered by the College of Business. Chemical, Biomedical, Electrical, and Civil Engineering programmes, among others, are available at the College of Engineering. Language programmes, psychology, ocean studies, and a variety of other courses are available at the university.

Academic Requirements:
- ACT/SAT scores are not required for international first-year applicants who require an F-1 visa. International students graduating from a US high school, on the other hand, must submit their ACT/SAT scores.
- Freshmen applicants must also present academic transcripts, with the first half of the final year's grades clearly visible.
- Applicants with O levels must submit at least 5 subjects' scores, while those with A or AS levels must provide at least 2 subjects' results.
- Graduate applicants must have at least 6 semesters of grades on their academic transcripts.
