The Honors Programme encourages students to participate in a curriculum designed to enrich their academic experience. Halvorson served as the delegate for Illinois's eleventh congressional district from 2009 to 2011. Sheryl Patrice Underwood is an actress, entertainer, and television host from the United States. She first rose to prominence in the comedy world as the leading female finalist in the 1989 Miller Lite Comedy Search. Another notable graduate is Jerry Butler Jr. He was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1991. He is an American politician who is also a lyricist, producer, musician, and soul artist.

TOEFL/IELTS/PTE (International Students Only)
For university admission, international students must meet the university's language requirement. Applicants are required to take either the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) or the International English Language Testing System (IELTS) or the Pearson Test of English (PTE).
Applicants must achieve a minimum acceptable score of 6.0 on the academic version of the IELTS.
