The Master of Science in Environmental and Occupational Health Sciences will equip students with the knowledge and skills to identify and answer important questions regarding influences of the physical environment on human health and to disseminate those findings. Students will undergo rigorous training in the research methods that are required to address key questions related to generating evidence on how the environment influences health, with a focus on modifiable features of the environment that can be considered for policy interventions. The program can be seen as both a stepping stone towards a career as an independent researcher and as a deepening of professional competencies required to occupy a leadership position in environmental and occupational health in government, academic, private industry or a non-profit organization.
