The interior design program at Drexel distinguishes itself with a focus on more than just the aesthetics of design – the curriculum understands that an emphasis on human experience and an exploration of materials and form can dovetail a commitment to a sustainable future and a distinct vision. This enables our students to develop as skilled designers, creative thinkers and responsible citizens who act as leaders in their field.

As they progress through the program, students tackle increasingly complex design projects through design studio work, allowing them to explore the behavioral, technological, environmental and aesthetic aspects of interior design and encouraging experimentation in problem-solving capacities. Students also look to the future, gaining an understanding of cutting-edge technologies, material innovations and how sustainability is tied to the health of interior and exterior environments.
