Psychology is the scientific study of the mind and behavior. You will choose from a wide range of courses on current topics in the field, including stress, trauma, sexuality, motivation and adolescent development. As part of the major, you will participate in a set of learning experiences that focus on research in psychology. This program is offered in DeKalb or at Harper College University Center.

Psychologists work in many settings, including schools, hospitals, businesses, government, laboratories, nonprofits and mental health organizations. Our graduates with bachelor’s degrees have found jobs in research, business, child care, employment counseling, foster care work, social work, marketing, personnel selection and other fields.
