Bachelor of Science in Cardiovascular Sonography (B.S.-C.V.S.) student applicants who already hold a bachelor’s degree in a science or healthcare-related field from an accredited institution with a minimum GPA of 3.0 are eligible to apply for the concurrent Master of Health Science (M.H.Sc) dual-enrollment option.  Accepted students who pursue the concurrent M.H.Sc option may be able to graduate with both the Bachelor of Science in Cardiovascular Sonography and a Master of Health Science, Generalist curriculum, based upon completion of all degree requirements.  Both degree programs are designed to be completed in 27 months.

Acceptance into the B.S.-C.V.S. degree program does not guarantee acceptance into the M.H.Sc concurrent option.

Upon application, a review of the bachelors transcript will be conducted and all general education requirements will need to be satisfied. In addition, up to 27 credits of open electives will be transferred. Upon transfer credit evaluation, completion of any additional credit to meet or fulfill the 57 credits for general education and open electives requirements will be required.

The applicant who is applying to the Bachelor of Science in Cardiovascular Sonography with Master of Health Science concurrent option who has graduated from a college or university in a country where English is not the primary language, regardless of United States residency status, must obtain a minimum score of 550 on the written or 213 on the computerized Test of English as a Foreign language (TOEFL). An official set of scores must be sent directly from the Educational Testing Services in Princeton, New Jersey, to NSU's EPS. Equivalent scores from the International English Language Testing System (IELTS) or the Pearson Test of English-Academic (PTE-A) are acceptable.
