Our engineering education major is the first of its kind in Ohio and one of the first in the nation. The program will prepare you to become a licensed secondary math teacher with a specialized engineering perspective. You’ll receive a solid foundation in engineering, mathematics and education. You’ll take core engineering courses and then broaden your engineering knowledge through eight technical electives in your areas of interest.

Our academic program is rigorous. Expect to work hard and be challenged. But there’s no need to stress, because we offer a supportive and collaborative environment. Your professors and fellow engineering students will become your friends and family. They will help you succeed and open doors for you.
