More and more, data is driving business decisions, and companies need experts to derive insights from their data sets. Business analytics is a rapidly growing and highly in-demand skill. According to the U.S. Department of Labor, the job market for those trained in business analytics is expected to increase by 34% in Oregon and 27% nationally by 2026.

We're preparing graduates who can meet the growing demand for these great careers. You'll graduate with expertise in strategic thinking, data analysis and management required to lead successful analytics projects in organizations.

You'll learn through hands-on experience and case study to be able to bridge real-world problem with technical solutions. The main goal is to train people who understand how to extract insight from data and translate the insight into competitive advantage.

You'll graduate not only with strong technical skills and proficiency in various data analytics tools, but also the ability to identify opportunities for data-driven solutions. You'll also understand the financial and operational implications of data-driven solutions you've discovered.

Business analytics is a major program of study offered in Corvallis or online through Ecampus with a number of areas of focus: Corvallis students can choose from 1) digital marketing analytics, 2) market research and consumer analytics, or 3) human resources (HR) analytics options.
