The Industrial Engineering Technology program prepares students for management and engineering positions in manufacturing and service organizations such as healthcare, banking and finance, transportation, retail, and government. Graduates may be involved in supply chain management, data-driven economic decisions, planning and scheduling of work methods and expected output, quality assurance, optimization of facilities layout and processes.

As an industrial engineering technology major at University of Dayton, you will develop engineering skills through industry-sponsored projects and experiential learning opportunities. With our small class sizes, faculty members with real-world engineering experience, and well-equipped laboratories, we utilize hands-on learning to equip students with applied engineering knowledge and skills that will help you to minimize waste, improve efficiency and make things better.
