La Verne’s Master of Science in Child and Adolescent Development program prepares elementary and secondary education teachers and other professionals to increase their understanding of the physical, intellectual, social, and emotional development of young children or adolescents. Our students develop capabilities to assume leadership roles in all facets of the child development field.
Each course in the master’s program in child and adolescent development is offered both on campus and online. Both delivery modes are identical in content and rigor and are offered on the semester schedule. Students in the program have the option of taking course on campus, online, or a combination of the two.
