Pitt’s Dietitian Nutritionist Program gives you a competitive edge in a high-demand field.

Our DN Program follows the Future Education Model Graduate Degree Program Standards. That means the courses you take today will prepare you for a high level of competency as you move forward in your career. Acclaimed faculty members teach you more than just healthy meal planning. They’ll share valuable knowledge about genetics, nutrient metabolism and public policy and health.

Your didactic training will be reinforced with more than 1,200 hours of hands-on clinical experiences. Spend time in a medical nutrition therapy rotation which will qualify you for any role in the field. And personalize your program through unique specialty rotations such as oncology nutrition, maternal and pediatric nutrition, food service management, sports nutrition, eating disorders, community nutrition and more.
