Petroleum engineering is an active major that starts with fundamentals, such as geology, chemistry, mathematics and physics and then drills down into the study of materials science, thermodynamics and the specific “hows” and “whys” involved in hydrocarbon extraction and production.
As part of your program, you will also have the chance to get hands-on experience with the state-of-the-art drilling & completions simulators, lab work, field trips, research and internships so you can enter the workforce prepared to discover and recover hydrocarbons in innovative new ways
