Your study in the Master of Science in Physiology and Neuroscience program will give you a broad knowledge of physiology and neuroscience as well as concentrated experience in a specialization. Choose from courses that include human physiology, membrane transport, intercellular communication, ion channels, and human neurophysiology, as well as seminar and special topics courses. You will leave with a strong research-oriented background in one of several areas of physiology, biophysics, or neuroscience. After completing your M.S., a continuation of graduate studies with our faculty may lead to a Ph.D. degree in biomedical sciences.
