When you work in public health, your goal is to help your community stay healthy and thrive. In this program, we can teach you about threats to public health and prepare you for a career to combat them. If you want to be in health care, but don't know exactly what area is right for you, consider studying public health.
In fact, many of our graduates go on to work in policy development, non-profit, federal agencies, research, education, and other positions. By tailoring your curriculum, you can prepare yourself for one of these roles as well. First, complete your required core courses. Then, choose one of three concentrations that fit with your particular goals and interests. Finally, with our service-learning and field-study courses, you'll learn firsthand the value and necessity of public health in community settings.
