You want to pursue your dream of designing new innovations with your love for our planet? Then let us teach you how to create systems and buildings that use energy and resources in an environmentally friendly way.

In fact, in this program, we can train you on the law, liability, and management side of sustainable engineering, so you can have the tools to enhance your career. Once you're enrolled, you'll complete a curriculum of 15 credit hours, including one required course in construction project management and four graduate-level electives in sustainable engineering, such as Green Building Design, Environmental Law, Sustainable Construction, or Engineering Management. In the end, you'll not only have your certificate, but you'll be able to apply up to 12 credit hours toward an MS in Civil Engineering here at UAB if you choose.
